Limit values for climate impact from buildings and an expanded climate declaration
In February 2022, the government commissioned the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning (Boverket) to submit proposals on how to accelerate the introduction of limit values for climate impact from buildings and expand the application of climate declarations. This report is an English translation of the report sent to the government in May 2023.
Regulation on climate declarations for buildings
In the summer of 2019, the government commissioned the National Board of Housing Building and Planning (Boverket) to initiate preparations for facilitating the introduction of regulation for a climate declaration when constructing new buildings. The purpose of the vision is to present objectives for Sweden's future. On basis of the one hundred national goals, that relate to physical social planning. In order to attain the goals set for a sustainable society by the year 2050 we have to see where Sweden ought to be in the year 2025.
