Climate database from Boverket

Search data in the open climate database for climate declarations from Boverket. When you make a climate declaration, you may use generic climate data or specific climate data.

If you use generic climate data in a climate declaration, you must use conservative data from the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning (Boverket) climate database - it is not permitted to use other generic climate data. Read more about the database in "Related information". Climate data can be printed or retrieved in excel format.

Open data

It is also possible to download the entire contents of the climate database on our webpage for open data, see "Related information". The available file formats are:

  • Excel
  • JSON
  • XML

Test period of the climate database until 7th of May

The climate database will be open for consultation until the 7th of May. The National Board of Housing, Building and Planning would like you to submit comments via email, see contact information in "Related Information". In June, a final version of the climate database will be published, and this is the version that may be used when a climate declaration is to be made. The climate database from Boverket is also available in Swedish, see "Related information".
