The agency Statistics Sweden has figures on how Swedes live.
According to Statistics Sweden there were roughly 4.7 million apartments in Sweden in 2013.
Of the apartments, 2 million apartments were in single dwelling houses , almost 2.4 million in multi-dwelling buildings, slightly more than 230,000 are apartments in special housing and 80,000 in other buildings.
The 230,000 special housing apartments were divided into residences for the elderly, people with a functional impairment and student housing.
