Nordic Co-operation
We exchange information and co-operate with authorities in the other Nordic countries.
Planning
Issues for Nordic co-operation on planning are agreed at ministerial level. In November 2010 a new joint action plan was approved. This is dealing with two perspectives: sustainable urban development and the climate change; maritime spatial planning. The Nordic planning authorities meet annually discussing major general questions. In addition to that, thematic seminars are arranged together with municipalities, county administrative boards and other parts of society.
Housing
In the field of housing the Nordic countries are partners for exchange of knowledge and experiences. Annually a Nordic meeting on housing administrative issues is arranged. On certain occasions the co-operation is completed with workshops. A joint webpage is published on http://www.boinorden.org/
Building Construction
An annual meeting is arranged to mutual exchange on development and altering of legislation within building construction issues. In addition to this thematic networking activities are carried out within each expert field.
