The EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region

Boverket is commissioned by the Government to assist the Ministry of the Environment with general aspects of the implementation, with the flagship project of furthering a network of sustainable cities and villages around the Baltic Sea and with the maritime spatial planning perspective.

ESPON

ESPON 2013 (European Observation Network on Territorial Development and Cohesion) is a European Research Network launched by the European Commission. Within ESPON 2013 the territorial dimension in regional and transnational development is analysed. Our agency is participating in the Monitoring Committee.

INTERREG
The territorial co-operation within the European Regional Development Fund has the purpose to support and strengthen the territorial, social and economic cohesion among the EU member states by transnational co-operation. Our agency is participating in the Monitoring and Steering Committees within the Baltic Sea Region and North Sea Region programmes.
